Default How to use more threads?

I set up a new 6-core computer and started running prime95. It started using the same setting as my older computer, only 2 threads. Is there a way to allow it to use more threads?

First, stop Prime95 from the menu ( Test / Stop... )

Then look for the file called local.txt in your working directory. This is usually the same directory where Prime95 itself was installed.

In that file, there are a number of lines. Look for the ones that say

Code:
WorkerThreads=1
CoresPerTest=2
The numbers may vary. Alter these as you see fit, but the product of multiplying WorkerThreads by CoresPerTest should not exceed 6, which is the number of cores you have.

Then restart Prime95 from the menu ( Test / Continue... )

Default Success

My local.txt only had
ThreadsPerTest=2
but changing 2 to 4 worked fine.

Thank you.
