This is only if you split the sievefile by core, Iam using always 13 folders.

Oh yes. That is correct. If you split up by core, you must split them by k-value. Otherwise you are doing extra work. That's how I always do it also when working with 1000s of k's.

Welcome to CRUS!

Many efforts here require weeks and often months running a single 8-core machine full-time. It's not unusual for new people to under-estimate how long things will take. With 8757 k's to test, consider sorting the sieve file by k-value and then run about 100 to 200 k's for n=2500 to 10K. That will give you a rough idea of how much time the entire file will take.

Be sure and have the stop-on-prime option set on for LLR or PFGW.
