In the file "worktodo.txt" I give the following input: FermatFactor=500,570,3000000000000,3001500000000 Then I start it. And I get an Error. The program want to seek an App in a Store (I translate it in english): " Find an app in the store? You must install an app for this task. Would you like to search for it in the store?" If I press the button YES or NO, I get the following: " The application could not be started correctly (0xc000007b). Click 'OK' to start the application shut down." --- I remember that such problem arose among the users of Feromant, but can't recall right now how to solve it... Does anybody remembers it? Luigi

I just tried in my Windows 10 with that worktodo and it works fine. Did he download the CUDA version by mistake or the Linux version? He can try right click the feromant.exe file and go to Properties and Compatibility tab and choose "Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows 7 or Vista", but then he has to double click the exe file in Windows folder window to run it I think, he cannot use a command prompt window.

2019-02-26, 18:38 #4 feromant   "Roman" Dec 2016 Everywhere 1A16 Posts In the help file for the Feromant program (Readme.txt) in the last line is given a recipe: "The program compiled with Visual Studio 2013, so download and install vcredist_x64 for VS 2013". After it is installed, the line "Microsoft Visual C ++ 2013 Redistributable (x64) - 12.0.30501" should appear in the Control Panel (section Programs and Components). This package adds the following dynamic libraries (dll) to the Windows / SysWOW64 folder: msvcp120.dll, msvcr120.dll. Error 0xc000007b indicates their absence.

No, just download and install vc++ redistributable package. The installer will do everything himself.

Tried to start Feromant at work (under Windows 10 build 1803), started and works without problems. Specifically the package is not set, but in the folder Windows/sysWOW64 dll need have been. Perhaps they were installed when you install other programs (office Suite, antivirus, etc)
