I have met no one, though I have exchange mail with one (guess who). I suppose August is a big opportunity in the former sense.

I'll be attending the F1 race at Silverstone in July, and would relish a chance to buy a pint for any of the faculty local to that area (Oxford is quite close by, I believe?).

The circuit is just under 45 mins drive from my home.

I was supposed to meet Luigi several years ago when he was visiting Washington but we missed each other by less than an hour. At least I got to have a nice lunch at Union Station :)

I've always wondered if maybe Silverman is a great guy in person, and just comes across badly online.

If you read my posts on Disqus, I sound like a madman, but I'm a nice guy. A nice guy that triggers people because of his Asperger's plus movement disorder, but still a nice guy.
