I have to register a protest:

I was shocked to discover just now that LaurV had posted that move.

Our team had not yet voted on a move.

We hadn't finished analyzing the move LaurV posted. LaurV could have easily seen that there were still many, many question marks in our analysis tree.

LaurV had neither reason, nor agreement by other team members, to post a move this long before our move deadline!

Let me add that I have, earlier in this game, and more than once, specifically warned LaurV, not to post a move before there was explicit, posted agreement by other team members.

Being 25% of the Geckos, I say you can play your move after some more study and I can't see the other 75% being upset by this. It is not the end of the world

As another 25% I agree with Paul. I wouldn't want this game to be spoilt by some misunderstanding in the Pirates team.

Oh? You can't imagine that another team member besides me would be upset? Furthermore, the 75% vs 25% is false because we've never yet taken a vote on this move, so you can't possibly contend that "75%" or any other percentage do or do not agree!!

I guess this would constitute official notice that I want a change in team leader ... except that I'm now officially notifYing you all that I resign from the team.

LaurV obviously cannot control his impulses to post too soon, _even though I've previously specifically warned him, more than once, not to do that_.

I consider his action to be a throwing-away of the analysis work I've done, so I'm no longer needed on the team.
