Looks like you need a little pick-me-up music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IT22BZ5gGbU OK, that was mean...try this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=og1HAkjOuL0 Hm...maybe the lyrics are not really appropriate...what to do...I got it! You need a healthy dose of Borge: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rczpLa8wuhA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZaLo0JfT6E He's been around for a looooooong time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkkHz8xq7lE The classic Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 2, which was written in four flats because Sergei had to move four times while he wrote it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjOg37xt7c0 And now the family friendly message everybody has been waiting for: Kids, Here's some valuable advice for you: if your mom has locked herself in the bathroom and she's listening to Mahler, then you must remain calm, call an ambulance and think lots of happy thoughts because you will need to be very strong. P.S. Remember to take your vitamins. Last fiddled with by __HRB__ on 2009-12-28 at 13:46 |

I would like to draw this thread to a rewarding/merciful conclusion.
If I post this great musical link, I think some mod/rocker may do it for me. ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3gWi9bBkHQ David |

I suppose this is supposed to be some sort
of backhanded compliment to be awarded our own sandpit/cesspool sans paddle. I suspect Paul. But we haven't been formally introduced yet. OTOH I would like to think that one of my skills during my teaching years was spotting a whizz kid in about 2 minutes. You can be Butch and I'll be Sundance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-VFq6nWvT8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmTkBB5yxr0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVAusXuPsY8 I treasure the memory of a heavy metal pub in London (circa 1982) where the music so loud the DJ (or anyone else for that matter) couldn't hear you speak. He did however have a large stack of records. I scrawled down "Hey Little Girl" and "August" on a scrap of paper, and he smiled knowingly as if to say "What is a nice bloke like you doing in a pub like this?" A few minutes later he played both tracks. . |

Lame book, lamer movie. Where's the point in giving Charlize Theron a part in a movie and not putting in a shower scene? The ladies at least got to see VM's nutsack - again. I wish everybody on the IMDB giving this film 9+ stars saying, that this movie is sooooooo depressing that they want to kill themselves, actually would.
P.S. In case of the sun disappearing for good, head for the next nuclear power-plant. I'll be damned if there isn't some way to use a 100 MW reactor and the abundance of growing lamps in college dorms to make the essentials - soybeans, rice and weed - without the sun. P.P.S. Time goes by faster when you hum:Lame, lala lame, lalalala lame, lala LAAAAAme LAAAAAme while walking out after 30mins. |

I am a cross between conservative and libertarian myself. I think basically the moral issues would be fine frozen, and that messing around with them is more likely to make the things worse then better, and that government needs to stop expanding and becomming socialist. However I am against abortion of babies that are viable. There is nothing in the act of birthing that makes a baby become alive. And I hope that it is obvious that killing a newborn baby is wrong, although without using our christian heritage there is no reason to say its wrong. Other cultures kill newborn babies to appease the spirits if the teeth come out in the wrong order for example.
