Sieving S180 from n=10000 to n=25000. Will complete to 1e12 by the end of the year, but don't know how deeply it will need to be sieved.

Sieving R66 from n=25000 to n=50000. Since there are so many k remaining, I will break down into 10 chunks with the last chunk including the few k > 101e6. I expect to sieve to about 1e13, but that is just a guess. If 1e13 is correct then I estimate about 3 months per chunk so across two GPUs, it is unlikely that I will finish it in 2023, but one never knows.

I have sent Gary sieve files for:

r247, r250, r310, r312, r357, r375, r388, r465, r535, r660, r685, r838, r970, r975, r1005, r1018

s190, s303, s306, s357, s361, s385, s486, s537, s540, s575, s612, s673, s675, s717, s750, s775, s786, s861, s885, s970, s975

all are sieved to 1e12, which should be plenty deep for anyone wanting to work on them.

A hella effort! Thanks a lot, Mark!

I have moved all of the posts related to the recent sieving help discussion to a new thread here:

Currently sieving R42 the 26 k-value at once. Expect end of sieve... next month maybe?

As a first time contributor here...
R53 seems to be available? I'd like to do it 100k-250k and sieve it at least to 1e13 with OpenCL.

Yes it is. Go right ahead.

Are you sieving only or both sieving and testing? 77 k's would be a huge effort for sieving and testing n=100k-250k. It would even be big for our BOINC effort. But you're certainly welcome to do that. If it ends up taking longer than you'd like, you can always stop.

I recommend to take some of these 2.5-10k bases and sieving (takes around 3-5days with -W16 on Ryzen), the main problem is to occupy all cores of the CPU, BOINC is the best option for this, for smaller bases, Iam creating 16 folders every time, split the k and use the stoponprimek=1 option in llr.ini, this reduce the overall time.

My plan was sieving-only since the GPU I want to use is idling otherwise.

I am sorry, I have not seen a base larger than 1.03k, so I must be misunderstanding something here?

Take a look in the base tables and search for additional sieving needed

I believe the 2.5-10k refers to desired next sieve range, rather than the base itself.
