If you build software for your own joy, please don't expect us to spend our labor to tell you the exact buttons to click to get such joy. Just download a working binary, as James directed.

Of course, if you enjoy learning how to do the build yourself, then by all means learn- but asking for a step by step isn't learning. You were told what to build in which order- either you know how to build software and can do so yourself, or you should use a pre-compiled binary.

after a very long time I managed to build yafu with Visual Studio 22.
curiously it does tune(), but crashes on factorisation of a RSA > 150, with the following last line:
problem: d != 1ves on C91 @ B1=11000, B2=100*B1

If you are getting that message then it is trying to run AVX-ECM. Does your cpu support AVX-512? If not, then you need to alter the compiler flags in the build configuration.

If you told us what chip it was, we could help. Your belief is countered by your compilation not running, so chances are good it does not support AVX-512. You could try asking Google, if you don't want to tell us what specific CPU it is....

Something is not setup correctly, because otherwise you wouldn't get that error or a crash. Without more info on your cpu, as VBCurtis says, it's impossible to provide more help.

You could go to all of the projects' properties pages (e.g., factor_common, ecm, siqs, etc.) and remove all USE_AVX512* flags from the C/C++ preprocessor property and rebuild.
