On which system is this? (Linux/Windows/Mac/etc.)
Could you enable PrimeNet debug mode and try again? |

Did you run a benchmark several days ago?
You may need to delete prime.spl and take the contents of results.json.txt and submit them manually through the Manual Results web page --- but first lets try and diagnose whats going on. The debug=1 setting in the primenet section of prime.txt is a good idea. You should get more info output to prime.log |

Is this an mprime you built from sources?

No, I did not build it.
Stumbled across a link in TrueNAS documentation on installing software into FreeBSD jails. https://www.truenas.com/docs/core/co...gjailsoftware/ The site listed was FreshPorts.org. Went to the site and searched for mprime. URL attached. https://www.freshports.org/search.ph...aseinsensitive gives details on an install package for mprime 30.7b9 |

I do not know if that mprime is different than the mprime here: https://www.mersenne.org/download/
Can you try the official version? |

-started over with new jail.
-downloaded mprime from gimps site. -extracted into folder, would not run do to missing dependencies. -determined needed to install curl and gmp packages. -pkg install curl pkg install gmp -mprime will now launch and communicate with PrimeNet server running as root. -that other package is defective. thanks for the direction/suggestions. |
