Quick question. When are we gonna see Amd's Athlon XP 2200+, 2400+, 2600+ and P4 2.53, 2.66, or even maybe a 2.8 Gigahertz on the Benchmark page? I guess it just hasn't been updated in a while, I was just curious what was going on.

Thats what I like to see, some new low times from the newest and best. I really like observing the benchmark page, now I got something new to look at. And speaking of comparing processors, does anyone have a subscription or have read CPU(Computer Power User) magazine? I really enjoy it, it's got great processor updates and comparisons and a whole lot more.

Best time for 896K FFT length: 36.509 ms.
Best time for 1024K FFT length: 39.716 ms.
Best time for 1280K FFT length: 55.855 ms.
Best time for 1536K FFT length: 69.355 ms.
Best time for 1792K FFT length: 84.603 ms.

That is almost a 5% increase in speed. I have no idea what caused the increase.

I wonder if these results deviate much from anyone with a similar computer. I have a gf3 tí200 as if that would help

Looking at the benchmarks page, http://www.mersenne.org/bench.htm, it seems to be OK. Just slightly slower than the two entries
P4 / 1800 / PC800 / 256
P4 / 1800 / 133DDR / 256
Maybe your computer is using slower memory? (100DDR?)
