On my dial-up link, it takes several seconds for diagrams to appear on the first question, so I'd automatically be at a disadvantage. I'll wait for a "level playing field".

The whole site seems to rely solely on JavaScript so I can't access the tests at all.

Seriously, if you want the world to know how smart you are - stop admiring the framed Mensa membership certificate on your wall and go do something that's both intelligent and worthwhile.

The first time I took it the phone rang half way through, I got 95%.
So I took it again (different questions) and got 103.22%.

I think I prefer the first score, at least I had an excuse.

My weakness would be the 'which is the next shape' type of question.
What are your weaknesses? (If any!)

One of my answers was random caused by clicking a second time on the answer I wanted before the page had changed (internet lag) and the second click being taken as the answer on that part of the next page that was loading. I say that just as a warning for other test-takers: one click is enough!

By the way, I wholeheartedly agree with Professor Mayer. My father (who is British) qualified for membership of the British Mensa and was very proud to be associated with such super intelligence. But after reading a few of their ridiculous monthly members' magazines where they all discussed how wonderful they were and their plans for forming a special committee of themselves to advise all the world leaders, he shame-facedly cancelled his membership.

People take IQ tests thinking that they somehow measure something of great importance. Unfortunately, that is not true. All the IQ in the world won't do a thing if it is not used. The current IQ champion of the world was a bartender in New York the last I heard of him. What is he doing with his IQ of 198?

I don't put much stock in on-line IQ tests. Myself and some co-workers took a test and we all three got the same exact score, we seemed to hit the ceiling on it. The number seemed low, at least compared to a previous test that I took.

Marilyn Vos Savant (I think that is a psuedonym) claims a 210, if memory serves.
