I just emailed Gary with k=200K to 500K in 20K blocks. That should keep you busy for a while. Let me know when you're getting close to running dry.

To keep everyone busy for a while, I have loaded two files, k=200K-240K for n=480K-500K, into the server. There are 251,993 candidates to test. Let's roll!

If someone can PM me about 2 days before all of these tests are done, I'll make sure that the next file gets loaded before the server runs dry.

Thanks, Peter and Gary! Hopefully we'll find a twin by k=500K, so you won't have to make any new files

There is about 10.8% chance of finding a twin in 0-500K. 6.6% in 200K-500K.

Interesting. After we have finished testing k<=500K for n=480K-500K, will there be any more perpared sieve files left to test?

I believe it is sieved for upto k=10M. 0-10M gives around 90% chance of a twin.

Yes, the sieve file goes to k=10M

Gary, I still owe you an answer. Yes, there are several (about 2000 for the whole sieve file) k values missing completely, i.e. no candidate in 480K<n<500K

Could you load k=240K-280K? I just noticed that the server dried up.
