People are double trial factoring on certain exponents beyond the GPU72 recommendations - M103580003, interestingly, none of them run 2^78 to 2^79 or larger P-1 on M168433723 which is the exponent I'm working on now.

They were likely unaware that the other was doing the same task. They were trying to find a factor to move on the milestone marker.

They are free to not indulge your misguided delusions. Their kit, their choice. Stop complaining that people are not helping you with your numerology. And that shadow that you see might be the hammer.

It's got a nice and straightforward explanation: Neither one of us cares about your exponent... This exponent is the last one under 104M that has not been tested.

And as Uncwilly said, I was not aware that chuenkit was doing the same TF. I submitted the first two bit-levels, went to bed, in the morning found that chuenkit submitted it too, but I still submitted the last bit-level which had been completed overnight.

But why would anyone want to run TFs on an exponent with a PRP over 80% progressed, just wait for the final result, shouldn't take too many more days.

I compare my current exponent because it's also 80%+ in PRP progress.

As you may have noticed, the assignment hasn't reported in for a long while and is due to expire in about 14 hours.

The milestone of M104M has just been cleared, so I'll see how many more days I will dozenally survive or magically land on the 1 in 1 thousand chance of there is indeed a hidden Mersenne Prime locating between M168,000,000 and M169,000,000.

Eligible M168,***,*23 candidates:

M168,1**,*23 -> all TF up to at least 2^75
M168,4**,*23 -> all TF up to at least 2^76

Wait, so "dozenally" is an adverb now?

"She stared at him dozenally. 'Is our love real?'" she wondered.
"Jim reacted dozenally, almost on instinct."

It's root is "doze" as in to make one tired, or actually fall asleep.

Fitting, since this thread has made me want to go to sleep and not wake up!

I've accumulated plenty amount of M168,***,*23 exponents up to 2^77 with the efforts from several months ago, thus I can run P-1 back to back without running out of the eligible candidates now.

M168037423 NF-PM1
M168133123 NF-PM1
M168731923 ongoing P-1
