Meanwhile, another GPU just finished a TF assignment to 77 bits mostly in the 143xxxxxx range, and all of the results were rejected as "not needed." (I printed out the results page, if anybody wants to look at it.) Here's one example. For the life of me, based on the information shown on the Exponent Status page, I can't figure out why the results would have been rejected; or, if these exponents were ineligible for further TF work, why PrimeNet would have gone ahead and assigned them for TF. And in this case, it's not like somebody sent it in ahead of me. 3200 GHz-days' worth of work submitted, and all of it gone down the drain.

More generally, some guidance would be welcome as to what kind of TF work on the Manual Assignments page can now be taken with some assurance that the work submitted will actually be accepted.
Never mind, ugh -- I'd already submitted them. I need to sleep better.

I know what the automation fans will say, and you will be correct.

LOL... And +1.

While it is generally understood that mass cannot reach the speed of C, there's nothing saying it can't go faster... 8^)
