Unknown Hardware Issue - Log of Prime95

Hello all,

After my computer freezes sometimes, I just ran a test with Prime95.

Unfortunately, there is indeed a problem and I don't know how to deal with it.
Could you help me?
After research, someone once had a similar problem and it had to adjust the voltage in the BIOS. Is that the case here as well?

On a side note, my bios is up to date at the moment.

That FFT size fits in CPU cache so isn't stressing main memory.

If you are overclocking, try not.

Your CPU is spiking to 88°. That's hot for a 3950X, though below the maximum of 95°.

So there is no reason to adjust the voltage in Bios?
I am not overclocking.
I have water cooling: Is there something wrong with that?

I would expect water cooling to keep the CPU cooler.

That being said, unless there is a bug in Prime95, it looks like you have a defective CPU. You should not need to overvolt the CPU to have it run flawlessly at stock clocks. Is it still under warranty?

Might be time to get a shiny new 5950X.
