On my Sony Tablet S, I have an app that will turn my tablet into a generic remote control for my tv, and also a stereo if I happened to have one. The thing is, since it's a tablet, it would be totally awesome to have a dedicated button for the various channels. Just press the CBS button and you go directly to CBS, press the Syfy button and go directly to that channel.
My question is,"What do you guys think would happen if someone made a free app that used a small version of the various channels icons to place on the buttons? I'm 100% certain there'd be lawsuits, but in what particular way do you think things would play out? Also, why do you think this particular app doesn't exist? Are the app-makers afraid they'll be sued even if the buttons are all labeled with a generic font? |
