 2016-03-16, 21:33 #3 Joe O     Aug 2002 3×52×7 Posts Aus_Karlos found the world record base 5 mega prime 92158*5^2145024+1. This prime is 1,499,313 digits long. This eliminates k=92158 from the base 5 Sierpinski problem, leaving 33 k's remaining. The base 5 Riesel problem has 77 k's remaining.

This is largest known base 5 prime, and the 48th largest known prime overall.
