Excellent web page Chris! It underscores in "full color" the ambuguity surrounding midnight on a certain day. Noon is no problem. Although I agree, like with midnight, that it's neither AM nor PM unless it's the instant right before or after noon, at least its clear what day is being referred. But that assumes that it is referred to as noon and not 12 AM nor 12 PM. In the latter case, it could be noon or midnight.

Edit: I think as a general rule, at least here in the U.S., 12 AM refers to midnight and 12 PM refers to noon (even though it is technicaly incorrect) but that still doesn't remove the ambugity around what date it is for midnight.
