Default Folks, it's time to upgrade!

I am suprised that not one of the 46148 participants has updated their machine beyond a P4 or Athlon. Come on people, gotta upgrade else Intel and AMD will go out of business.
Code:
Machines Applied on 46148 Accounts

  Intel Pentium 4 : 39279
  AMD Athlon : 20415
  Intel Pentium III : 1503
  Intel Pentium II : 233
  Intel Celeron : 4065
  Intel Pentium Pro : 17
  Intel Pentium : 65
  AMD K6 : 60
  Intel 486 : 4
  Cyrix : 625
  Unspecified type : 87
  ---------------------- -------
                  TOTAL : 66353
Okay, well maybe at the most 87 people have upgraded and decided to keep it a secret.

My new (not top-of-the-line, but still new) AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ 2.5 GHz dual core is still in the same category as an old AMD Athlon that was 500 MHz. I'm guessing we have more than 87 Intel Core 2's, and the only place they'd fit there is in the Pentium 4 category. So...we have been upgrading, the only problem is that PrimeNet hasn't been seeing a difference. Will PrimeNet v5 have a more informative description about what the CPU is?

I agree, take those PrimeNet statistics with a grain of salt.

Primenet v5 captures the cpu string from the CPUID instruction. This should allow for a more flexible analysis of the machines out there. Better yet, a client upgrade is not required to capture a new CPU architecture.

The entire PrimeNet site needs to be updated.

Core 2s show as P4s. Even Quad Cores do.
