Thanks! That works. :)
I mistyped the username on my first try, so the http flags may have worked too. |

Here is what I have used:
Code:
wget64.exe --continue --no-check-certificate --user rsals_data --password **** http://escatter11.fullerton.edu/nfs_data/48873043253_19m1/48873043253_19m1.dat.gz Rename partial download file to 48873043253_19m1.dat.gz and move to NFS folder. Execute above command. |

The Kosta C198 has built a matrix: 50.6M at TD 128. ETA on 12 cores of idle Haswell-Xeon is 1075 hr, using 36GB (according to top).
I don't imagine it will remain idle, so it'll be 8 weeks or so to solve the matrix. |

Nicely done! Hybrid sieving (CADO+msieve) seems to work. And 6-8 weeks seems an impressive solve time for a matrix of that size.

Thanks! As a first effort, it went OK; hindsight shows that I started CADO at too low a Q (5M), leading to lots more duplicate relations than typical. The C197 from Aliq3366 started at Q=20M, and with a higher-yielding poly, so it should get more unique relations and a much better matrix. 20-100M on CADO is better than 5-80M, even though 5-80 gets more raw relations. When we do a C200 this way, we will gather a higher fraction of relations with CADO, leaving perhaps 150-600M for 15e.
I'll take that C197 from 3366 for postprocessing. |
