Dick Allen, fearsome hitter and 7-time All-Star

I saw him play for the Chicago White Sox. About the hardest I ever saw a baseball get hit was a home run he hit in (old) Comiskey Park. It didn't quite clear the roof high above the stands, but it came mighty close. It landed on top of the near side of the roof, and rolled back down, landing in the outfield.

EDIT: Something seemed odd about this one. The name just didn't seem right. It suddenly dawned on me: When he was playing, everyone called him Richie Allen.
