Red face Applecoolingdesign from Helmer?

The design of the cooling from the new Apple mac pro 2013 looks a little bit like the design of Helmer?!

For us provincial types who can't handle tech German, it is well worth running this article through a translator.

Really funny when they talk about the memory... 148GiB... really?
37 (18+19) ICs per memory modules, 8Gib (1GiB) capacity per IC -> must be a 37GiB memory module!!!!!11111oneone!!
They never heard of reg. ECC memory I guess. Typically you have 1 or 2 buffer chips on those memory modules, the photo is not really good but good enough that the IC in the middle has diffrent marks on it (could be a chip from Inphi).
Remaining 36 ICs... well ECC memory needs 72bit word size (64bit data + 8bit ECC) for those Xeons. That is why non-ECC modules usually have multiple of 8 and ECC modules a multiple of 9 ICs. 36/9 = 4.000000 *bingo* 2x (16 data + 2 ECC ) ICs. Thus 32 GiB capacity per module and 128GiB for the whole system.
