Hello, everybody,

I am new here. I discovered Prime95 when somebody (thanks, FastServ) from the Web Hosting Talk forums recommended it as a better way to torture computer hardware. I see now that the Prime95 is much more than just a hardware tester.

I like what I see, and I will contribute processing time to the project.

My background is in Computer Science. I have worked as a software engineer. These days my day-time job is in the Information Technology field.

I am a fan of math and numbers, so I thought it would be really cool to help contribute to this project!
a bit of a necro but Oh Well.

I try to run gpuowl and prime95 whenever im sleeping or at school :^)

Hi, welcome to these bits and bytes of internet space! I hope you'll have a good time here, and I wish you your very own Mersenne prime.

Necroposting might be useful, such as in this case - I didn't know this thread existed, and I think it's a good idea and should be revived.

If you set it the right way, you can have it running even while you are using your PC, without significant performance decrease - unless you need 100% at all times.
