Hi,
Trying to set up WakeonLan on a machine. I consider myself to be close to the bottom of the leaderboard of computer know how so I'm hoping I can get some help here. This page gives some advice : https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WakeOnLan which I've been following. I'm caught up with this bit : https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WakeOnLan shahar@shahar-backup:~$ cat /etc/network/interfaces # This file describes the network interfaces available on your system # and how to activate them. For more information, see interfaces(5). # The loopback network interface auto lo iface lo inet loopback # The primary network interface auto eth0 iface eth0 inet static address 10.0.0.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway 10.0.0.138 up ethtool -s eth0 wol g because my /etc/network/interfaces file says only auto lo iface lo inet loopback Is it obvious what I need to do?
