For now, I am still hopeful that not a lot of judges in the SCOTUS will be pro election-fraud-myths.

I previously commented on overturning Loving v Virginia and Brown v Board of Education in this post.
I also commented on Brown v. Board of Education in this post and this post. Another case that had people screaming about "judicial activism" was Mirands v Arizona which I previously commented on in this post. Last fiddled with by Dr Sardonicus on 2022-06-28 at 02:51 |

Iโm always surprised that religion can be cited in the context of law. That looks so Middle Age to me

Nominally it is to ensure public spaces provided by government are religion-neutral. I had mistakenly thought it might relate at least somewhat to safety concerns, such as the possibility of getting a loose garment snagged on something or a hand tangled in a loose fitting garment while swimming, or suffering heat stroke in a head to wrists and ankles complete coverage black garment while relaxing on the beach. |

Burkini are banned in some public places, for instance swimming pools. As a man there also are restrictions in the kind of swimming suit you can wear. Thatโs for hygiene reasons.
And this has nothing to do with what I was talking about: go read some of the links Dr Sardonicus posted just above. We have no such thing in France where justice and religion are clearly separated. We could also talk about how Muslims are trying to spread their religion by exposing such signs and what it means for women rights. |
