Hi all,
The project as a whole has passed the 14000 tests mark!! Good work everyone Updated webpage is over here: http://www.psearch.us (don't use iup.edu address anymore, it's deactivated). According to the Binomial Distribution (and the Poisson Distribution), we have now passed the 50% mark for our chances of finding a prime. The probability of finding at least one prime after testing 14058 candidates is 53% !!!! Let's cross our fingers and hope for a prime real soon. Also, check out this link too: http://episteme.arstechnica.com/eve/...6008484631&p=3 Good luck to all in our search for prime #17. regards, william wfgarnett3@yahoo.com |
