Don't feel bad. My sister has seven (7) cats in her house. In her case, it is sort of strange because she is a registered nurse at the local hospital. She must buy litter by the barrel. I walk into her house, there is no hint that there are this many. I struggle with one, at times. I have a photo of four of them in a group. I will see if I can find it.

I was mistaken. Three admiring my dirty laundry basket. My sister used to wash them for me when I was working. The other photo, "Buddy." He belongs to my son.

When I was very young, we had a cat, likely a "ginger" (the current photos of "ginger cats" match my hazy recollection). My parents had named him Rover. When I mentioned we had a cat named Rover, it puzzled my classmates, who insisted that Rover was a dog's name.

At one point maybe 25 years ago we had 13 cats. Our vet used to make house calls because the logistics of transporting that many cats is ridiculous. You would never have known we had that many because we kept everything super clean. Our small condo had a two cat limit so we had to be very careful.

The group dynamic of 13 cats is really complex. Especially at feeding time! We used to buy canned mackerel for them. It came in a huge can and it was (then) kinda cheap. We bought "Meow Mix" in huge 50# bags. Good times!

We have 4 now (2 of which are fosters) and they are a handful. Our two love to go for walks outside (on a leash). One of ours though is having litter box issues and one of the fosters is also having litter box issues. Ugh!

My dog's name is Annabelle. She was born in 2013 so that makes her 7 in human years, and 49 in dog years. She is half pit-bull and half mix. We like to go to the dog park.

Cheers,
Matt

Something isn't right.

At the moment of birth the dog's age is undefined. A moment later the dog's age is approximately -∞. After 100 years the dog's age is ~104.
