Default Real time war game.

About 3 weeks ago I discovered Conflict of Nations which uses an engine to run a number of different scenarios ranging from a predominantly European setting (with parts of US, Canada, Caribbean, North Africa and Middle East) to global conflict, post global warming apocalyptic scenarios and zombie infestation. I'm playing my 2nd game, both of which are in the first scenario.

Great fun but very addictive and takes up a lot of time. If you're confined to quarters by CV19 this might not be quite such an issue. Something of which to be aware is that players are spread around the world. My formal allies are both in UTC-5 whereas I'm in UTC+1 as is another player with whom I am, as yet, on friendly terms. This has both advantages and disadvantages.

I'm not being paid by the organizers, neither am I paying them anything --- though I could if I wasn't such a cheapskate.

Mike: I know you like tank games (WoT perhaps), so you may well like this one.

War game? Like Overwatch, the game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment?

Never played Overwatch so couldn't say.

We are looking for someone to take over a coalition member (Poland) who has dropped out. The gameID is 3294985 at https://www.conflictnations.com/ if you are interested.
