What's so silly about that picture? I think you posted it in the wrong thread! But then, I'm a geek who has computer stuff on his kitchen counters too.

Is that an RTX-3000 series GPU I can see??

If so, I wonder why the motherboard is the El Cheapo option (ew, just not good), what is the CPU, and why is the PSU at minimal required wattage for the GPU (did power efficiency went out of the window with the money spent on the GPU?).

This looks like something NASA might send into orbit.

How much power does it draw? It takes quite a bit to generate enough heat for espresso.

Funny thing, as soon as I saw the picture, the term "Frankensteining" came to mind. It wasn't until a bit later that I saw the name of the .jpg file...

Thanks for mentioning that! I feel a lot less like a senescent dinosaur than I did.

I kept thinking, "Those big black hoses look like water hoses, right down to what look like hose clamps, which would make sense for cooling." But I was worried they might be something else which I didn't know about.

From the description on Reddit, which mentions

full custom water cooling loop
it looks like they are water hoses!

I've remembered this 1999 New Yorker sardonic cartoon, and suddenly I don't find it funny at all. (It does hurt like hell!)
