While I would(should, actually, since I'm a human being) never wish death on a fellow human being, Jobs wasn't the awesome angel people seem to want to portray him as. He absolutely refused to allow Flash on his handsets, to the point where it was obviously an ego thing. The rules for disallowing Apple Store Apps were arbitrary at best.

Overall, though I'm sure many will disagree, he was the technological version of Hitler, desiring complete control over his devices and how they worked. There is an app called Phone Game, which is a game intended to help people understand the impact of cell phones on things like money and pollution in Third World countries. That app is impossible to find in the App Store, but is the top link if you enter Phone Game into the Android App store.

To be honest, I'm not glad Jobs is dead, but I'm glad he's not in charge of Apple anymore.

I have read the gibberish you posted in the "creation museum" too... that makes me wonder a lot... Where do you people come from?

Now, to stay in fashion with the new turn of the discussion, I would reproduce a kinda stupid joke from one of my friends (anti-windows guy): "Steve Jobs is death, Bill Gates is still alive. Two unhappy events for the humanity"...

By the way, this guy had a Mac laptop that died in the same day as Steve Jobs, because his small kid (about 2 years old) purred a glass of water over it. This is not a joke.

Rest in peace, Steve Jobs!

The comments in the article Dubslow linked to are terribly sad, an excellent illustration that computer hardware is a poor substitute for religion.

The reasons for disallowing Flash are well-documented.

Hitler? Really?

You clearly know little about him beyond what Apple-haters say about him and Apple products.

Isn't there some formula/theory that predicts how long a thread can last before someone mentions Hitler?

I'll bite my tongue.
