Default Available software and reference info

Since the sticky threads here are rather old, and as I recall some may be locked, I'm adding pointers here, to the tabulations that I maintain of

available mersenne hunting software at https://www.mersenneforum.org/showpo...91&postcount=2
These programs are what actually crunch the mersenne computations.

client management software at https://www.mersenneforum.org/showpo...92&postcount=3
These help the end user manage the crunching programs.

and top of the tree of reference info in general at https://www.mersenneforum.org/forumdisplay.php?f=154

Sort of an outline/ table of contents for the reference info tree https://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=24607

Welcome. Thanks for the feedback. As a new gpu user and forum member a couple years ago, I looked for something like it and did not find it. So it made sense to me, as I figured some things out, to share, both to save others' time, and to get more eyes on what I thought I understood, for feedback on misunderstandings, gaps, etc. Also, hopefully, it lightens the load of the authors of the software a bit as far as answering questions, which might lead to a bit more new coding or bug fixes.

I'm open to suggestions for how to make those resources easier and more likely for new users to find.

Note for future readers, my content is very GIMPS-oriented and Mersenne prime oriented. I do not cover, and plan to not cover, other type numbers (Fermat, Catalan, Proth, Cunningham, etc.) Factoring or sieving of general primes is of interest only in so far as it expedites Mersenne prime hunt progress, such as in presieving factor candidates in TF or P-1.
