Default Alert Sound

Hey there! Just read in the program description that "the program notifies the server and optionally emits a continuous sound to notify you". Is the alert sound set to play by default, and if so where is the option to disable it? I can't seem to find the option in the program to enable/disable this feature.

Thanks for the help!
