I wish it had. I was greatly altitude-sick for the last day. And most of that day seemed to be trudging through snow.

I have since improved that to over 14,000 feet (on the surface).

Top of Colorado: Mount Elbert at 14,440'. (Higher elevation, but a much easier climb than Longs Peak, which I have yet to summit).

Mound Kea at 13,804 feet in Hawaii. Only US state highpoint I’ve summited using a car.

I was so drained by the effort that I lost the umbrella from my tropical drink...

Highest would be Mt. Whitney (drove to 8,365', then did a very long hike to 14,500'); next highest would be Mt. Evans (drove to 14,130', then did a very short hike to 14,264').

On the opposite end, the lowest altitude I've ever been was around -279' in Badwater. The actual low point of -282' is a few miles away from the parking lot at 36° 14.515'N, 116° 49.535'W (http://www.panamintcity.com/basin/lowestpoint.html ); I'll probably hike there some day.

I live at 7684 feet, 24/7/365.

Yes, I suppose that makes me a hermit, lol.
