We now have 1350 of both using Robert G's program, of which 206 are 105 or more at 10000, and 17 at 110 or more. I will concentrate on taking the highlighted Riesel up a lot further. Last fiddled with by robert44444uk on 2009-11-24 at 11:53 |

Here is just a little addition to the list of 442 VPS posted earlier (see attachment). I simply forgot to check the y values for higher factors. Meanwhile I checked for this and found that 17 of the 442 VPS are indeed members of higher E's. And it turns out that 9 of them are already known...

The star 13330...M148 was 125/20000 now 126/21359...going like a train
Of the others, 16937...M148 has gone from 102/10000 to 114/14538. That is impressive. Last fiddled with by robert44444uk on 2009-11-24 at 16:46 |

The star 13330...M148 slowed down a bit, hoping it will pick up speed soon, was 126/21359 now 134/44497. As a comparison, the best 17 Sierpinskis checked to higher levels were on average 129/40000, and the best 135/40000, so right up there, with a higher density of remaining candidates.
Of the others, all checked to 20000, all very promising, they should all do well 18597...M148 119/20000 16937...M148 118/20000 59473...M148 118/20000 No other M148 beat 113/20000 |

13330...M148 now at 141/66669 very presentable
Records at this level are not known, because of lost results of R 638621868573 60. This candidate was apparently 149/75000. Of those where there is a full record, the Riesel best is 143 and Seirpinski 142. The other candidate slowed somewhat and I have stopped checking it 18597...M148 119/20000 131/30000 134/52361 |

13330...M148 now at 143/75530. Will stop at 100000. This now is in the Sierpinski racing record books with 143/70581, beating previous record by 6000 n. Needs some more soon though to beat 148/100000

13330...M148 now at 145/79597, but I am running 2 cores, and the other is blank from 85K-92500.
Still 144/77520 and 145/78928 are both Sierpinski records, by a whisker. Need the next to appear by n=82797 |

13330...M148 now at 147/96228.
146/79804 and 147/94911 are both Sierpinski best. Need 148 to appear by n=97637. Does not look likely to hit 150/100000 which is a shame |
