COVID booster vaccination wavefront (2021-2022)

boostered today with Moderna, it feels easier than the first two with Pfizer.
Corona-time is a new adventure for me, I am happy that I have still phone and internet.
The best time for me is in the night, walking between 3 and 5 am through the city.

Got my third today. Moderna as I am 30+.
My town have/had organized a public vaccination session, all of today. It seems that there is one each month.

I'd just now checked the latest rules, and hey! ...they invited 50+ for the 2nd booster 2 weeks ago. I overslept those news.

I'm going to get it - I thought I might wait until a little closer to fall. I heard that Moderna is developing a bivalent version which I would like to have.

I think I got the booster in February of this year, but after checking my vaccine card, it was December of 2021. All of mine have been Moderna. No side effects with any. I am seeing occasional hints that another booster will be needed sometime later this year. Fact or fiction, I don't know.

They are only giving the 4th shot to people 50+ for now (and high risk people and health care workers), and they haven't even started yet.

I couldn't even get one if I wanted to buy it, which I would like to (depending on price of course).

Oh, as Serge woke up this thread, I am happy (?!?) to say that in my office, where 12-13 people work very close together, I am the only one who didn't have covid, yet.

But I was kinda lucky, too.

Our factory was hit with two waves of covid, one last year, with about a hundred and fifty people in quarantine, in total, for few weeks, of which about 30 in the same time on "top-time", and a second wave this year in July, with about a hundred people in quarantine, of which about 50 in the same time, max.

You may not realize, but these numbers are EXTREMELY high for our factory, considering that we do high-tech electronics, and if you watch videos from 5-6-10 years ago (much before covid) on our YT channel, you will see that we always had clean rooms, where the people wear gowns, masks, gloves, etc, like in nuclear plants , so the covid period made absolutely no difference in the way we work, we were doing that stuff since ever, in production halls, testing, COB, SMT, testing, etc. We even have the lunch and breaks in small groups, to maintain the lines working and to avoid the congestion in the canteen.

But people contacted covid at home, and some of them even came to work for days, with covid, as they were afraid to tell, fearing to lose the job or the income for the period (which is bullshit, because our factory paid the quarantine, i.e. let people take paid vacation, but you know, people are still worried).

So, few idiots came to work with covid until they were found to have fever (everybody was and still is checked daily at entrance, for temperature, and we are tested every two weeks, or after long weekends and holidays when people go to nearby cities or provinces to see their families and/or relatives) or their colleagues found out that they don't feel well. So we had to send in quarantine whole sections of production, because of that. But the internal spreading was close to zero, actually I only know one case when somebody got covid in the factory, two girls they work together and had lunch together, etc., and one got it from the other.

Anyhow, in my office all the people except me had covid one time or another, few of them more than once (one guy got it 3 times, in spite of the fact that he is triple vaccinated, but he likes local bars...). However, during the two waves I talked about, I was lucky in the sense that during the first wave I was in a biz trip for a week, and not in the office, while during the second wave I was in Australia for a month. It looked like the virus waited for me to leave, before striking

I had some light coughing for the last month or so, but all tests came out negative, and the cough is most probably seasonal (rainy, humid, molds, etc.)
