No. The rig has 8 RX580 with modified custom BIOS, each 90Watts.


But the problem is not the power, the problem is having 2 switching psu in parallel.

Did you connect the power supplies using something like this connector linked below?
I have 3 of these ( in 3 systems, of course ) and they work great.

Yes something similar. But the fire was on the mainboard.

System reinstalled:
- Ubuntu 18.04
- amdgpu-pro 19.30


- gpuowl needs NO_ASM
- faster with OLD_FFT8 ?? but other options produce small variations
