I usually use https://www.mersenne.ca/prob.php to determine the best B2/B1 ratio. However, recently I began to realize that machines may have different efficiency rates regarding to Stage 2 versus Stage 1, compared to the machine which CPU credit is based on. Thus I wonder if there is a way to calculate the optimal B2/B1 ratio by using the actual benchmarks.
I don't think there will be much gain, probably something like 1 more factor per 100 at best. But it's still worth it if someone have multiple machines running unattended with the same configuration. |
