Is there a way to reserve ranges in the double check effort? Is it open to the general public?

If there is an interest in double checking, maybe another sticky should be started with all the K's that need to be checked so those who do it will be able to reserve k's. This would prevent confusion?

Double checking is currently an individual process. I started doing it as a test of srsieve and because I suspected that a few primes were missing in the 16384 < n < 32768 range. It's a nice chunk of work for some of my slower machines. I've currently checked all remaining Sierpinski's up to n = 22000, with plans to check up to n = 65536.
If anyone was interested, I would encourage them to sieve the Sierpinski k's for n > 65536, or perhaps start a double check effort for the Riesel k's. |

IIRC this is the third or fourth prime found in double checking... Should we start double checking everything, or have you taken that task upon you, Masser? |
