yeah I suck at forex as well though you still need a lot of leverage to get anything moving it's only because currency pairs move so many pips that you can gain on a low leverage deal.

Here's a challenge I often gave my students:

Given a spreadsheet program (Excel, LibraOffice, et al) compute the 12 by 12 times table.

Those who are good only need to enter one number ("1") in A1, and every other cell is a formula.

The really good ones can complete this exercise in less than sixty seconds.

I do have interests ( science, math,chess,...) but they are unlikely to get me employment without degrees I no longer would go back to school for. bakery training in employability skills is not an interest I have and the best they've done so far is a person who used to be in the navy talking conversions that and seeing how much I can push without getting crippled.

Just to share, I once had a really bad office manger who didn't understand how a spreadsheet worked.

She used the spreadsheet as a desktop publishing program. My boss asked me to double check the spreadsheet, and the office manager admitted that she was using a hand calculator to fill in the fields.

I will tell you what I have been thinking about lately.
In have been trying to come up with a formula that yields a not too large integer which is highly divisible. As such it works be useful in in gcd factoring.
Check this out m = a-small-primorial and n = a power of 2
In the formula
for (i=1,m,p =n^i ), you get an integer which factors into lots of primes. It is similar to a factorial but not as exhaustive or as large. If I could come up with a range based formula to set the concentration range of the primes, I'd have something.
