Requesting exponent details via http://www.mersenne.ca/exponent/72977 currently solicits the interesting response of 'That is a weird number'.

Still seems to work fine for exponents other than M72977 (which has just had a rather large factor added).

A couple of days ago I found a 70-digit composite factor via P−1, which breaks down into two prime factors of 30 digits and 40 digits. Just today, NoPolarBearsHere reported a factor, which however is merely the composite product of the three smallest already-known factors.

Not sure what the deal is with mersenne.ca, maybe it choked on the composite factor?

It does appear to be related to the new composite factor (1679135191677404292075440184639325543027841024599493930960571292342873) but why it's choking on that one and not others I haven't yet discovered. Investigation continues, I'll post back when it's fixed.

Turns out nothing exciting: just some debug code left in there that hadn't surfaced before because it would only be triggered if the factor k was > 200 bits. The page should display fine now. You may need to ctrl-F5 forcibly refresh the page if you've looked at it earlier and still see any cached error messages.
