Probably, but they may price it in such a way that the top end chips are replacements for Tesla anyway? I honestly don't know what their strategy is there...

I wonder what their Volta strategy will look like. Sounds like they're definitely thinking Volta will plug into the HPC world, with some supercomputers already set to use those when it's available in 2017/2018.

I guess it just remains to be seen what the final specs will be for Pascal... I hate waiting.

Any update on whether there are going to be new pins for M49?

Maybe. It's been talked about, but I don't know details.

+1 for pins

They give top producers a tangible sense of having been part of the discovery.

Maybe more properly: commemorative buttons which can be attached with an incorporated pin component.

As in physical ones?
M49* was discovered and all I got was this lousy badge.

Yes. It would be the third or forth time when such badges are issued, there were two or three antecedents for different events, and we proudly own two such buttons (with a bit of scratch and bend from the transportation, but they still look nice in our showcase window)
