How on Earth do I add M74207281 to FactorDB? I keep getting "Error: Limit of about 10.000.000 digits exceeded". I've even tried (2^37103640*2^37103641)-1.

Current decent GPUs can get 50-60 GhzDay/Day on LL vs 700 on TF, if that improves to 200GhzDay/Day or more on GPU it will change the LL power output of the project significantly.

I'm betting we see another one found by late 2017, though I agree with Madpoo that there is a decent chance it is actually found in DC land.
512 bit instructions will help but they will still be memory bandwidth limited.

Haven't been keeping up much in recent years, but just saw a Facebook post today. Looks like I've got not just 1, but 2 new prime discoveries to catch up on.

The forum thread with the previous discovery was not so easy to find, heh.

What of the chips and accelerators that support them? It seems likely we will see crystal well style large enough for LL caches and eventually DDR5 support.

Shall we suppose that this is because to thread title had been subjected to creative modification?

Well I can't find it at all by browsing the relevant subforum. I mean, the last post is 29 Mar 2013, but I can't find a thread whose last post is that just by browsing.

Was only able to find it through Google. And even then, searching '57885161 mersenneforum' doesn't turn it up as one of the first few results.

http://mersenneforum.org/search.php?searchid=1757951 ?

settings primenet forum posts with 57885161 year ago and older last posting date in descending order. never mind tried to bring it to the top form another search so I guess that didn't work.

Maybe we can all chip in and get (me) one of these?

320 terabytes of memory and more than 2,500 CPU cores
