Unhappy RIP

Graham Dilley

Getting too familiar with folk popping their clogs these days,
but this affects me.

The famous "Botham Test" would not have been were it
not for the assistance of him and Bob Willis.

And another recent loss of someone who made it to the top of the pile. His achievement was all the more remarkable when you consider he was labouring under a significant physical disadvantage.

Thanks for that 99.94. It was indeed quite sad to see MAK passing away. Condolences to his family which includes two big-name Indian film stars.

Indeed. But at least he had a decent innings!

well, no time to look for the "silly pictures" thread... we used to have RIP-threads for different famous people who died, RIP Steve jobs, RIP Dennis Ritchie, but to have a topic called just "RIP" could make sometimes strange things happening... I hope this was not a premonition

(not talking about having RIP posts in the "funny stuff" subforum...)

You will note that I started this thread a few hours before Jobs died,
and days before Ritchie.

Death

PS Graham Dilley was a 52 year old cricketer.
