Prime95 25.6 runs well on our quad core box. (We like the link to the forum on the help menu!)
However, we are unable to get Prime95 to start when the box is booted. It is listed in the "Software Exporer" in Windows Defender but we are unable to find an option that says the program is safe and should be allowed to run. We have the same problem with "Core Temp". Maybe you can try upgrading from Vista to XP. :surprised
