Hopefully others with more experience will chime in here. In the mean time, let me review some reference material. The only other Mac I have is a C2D which predates the i3-i5-i7-i9 Core series. Not sure how well a binary can be made on an M1 using the -march config flags.

Here's a statically-linked fat binary of ecm for Macs. It should work on x86_64 and arm64.

I would need some moderator to change the first post of this thread.

"Java ECM (java applet)" should be changed to "HTML5/Javascript/WebAssembly web application." (or "web application" if the previous text is too long).

Notice that the third to the sixth links point to calculators that can only factor small numbers.

The first site is limited to 70 digits and the Magma calculator failed when trying to factor a 70-digit composite number:

print Factorization(10^69+2607) returns: The computation exceeded the time limit and so was terminated prematurely.
