hm, looks curious for me
part of the result-file of that computer: [Tue Aug 24 01:50:43 2010] UID: Wurtinger/WUR_E6600, M2399 completed 4000 ECM curves, B1=44000000, B2=4400000000, Wd1: 08F30F19, AID: 99A622D625D755F9071CF60B349463B3 [Tue Aug 24 07:13:41 2010] UID: Wurtinger/WUR_E6600, M2411 completed 4100 ECM curves, B1=44000000, B2=4400000000, Wd1: 08FF0F25, AID: C014E1C1EC86649B2EE40761F18F2C46 [Sat Nov 13 06:02:11 2010] ECM found a factor in curve #1944, stage #1 Sigma=6035863152691405, B1=110000000, B2=11000000000. UID: Wurtinger/WUR_E6600, M2399 has a factor: 174050713908151885290217482291235845448134953, AID: A08640662BEE2BB1E821530CC62E1E48 in August I finished 4000/4100 curves with B1=44e6 for this exponents. Then I assigned 3000 curves for both exponents with B1=110e6. 2 weeks ago I found the factor (stage 1... ![]() If I remember right, I first assigned 1000 curves with B1=110e6 for the exponents and raised the assignment to 3000 curves some days later. cheesehead's link 2399ECMC323S1 of 100, 54.30%95212010-12-182010-11-272010-11-262010-08-24WurtingerWUR_E6600 means, as far as I can see atm, Curve 323 (stage 1) after already finished 1944 curves (the factor I found reset the number of curves) but why they are counted as 'of 100' I don't know... |

Yes, I've done this myself successfully before. You can up (or down, presumably as long as you don't go below the amount that you've already completed) the number of curves without invalidating the AID string.

Yes, as mdettweiler said, it is possible. I often do it to get the ETA's of 2 or more workers closer together.
