Each of our definitions of "complete" may vary. Some people want to get sub-sub ranges under 200 and in doing say may P-1 deep and then DEEPER and then TF a little. I could also list what I think are available (incomplete) but to what size? Some requests are coming in at the x.xxM range and that is too many ranges to list as available and for that matter, too many ranges to list complete. I'm working on the range 16.1M to have at least 4000 numbers factored (there were only 5 factors missing and I found 3). After finishing this range I will continue with 16.0M, 15.3M, 16.5M, 16.8M and 16.3M in this order.

I'm working in the 30K-40K range, but only doing unfactored exponents and only those with low P-1 bounds compared to the average in the range.

Does anyone know who users
Jocelyn Larouche or mikr are? They are both running around in the 3.8M range doing P-1 to lower ranges than I just finished: https://www.mersenne.ca/exponent/3855149 and on exponents I am getting ready to run. https://www.mersenne.ca/exponent/3859189 I am considering abandoning the 3.8 range and staying away from the entire 3.0-3.9 range because there seems to be a lot of ECM and uncoordinated P-1 activity. I created a worktodo list consisting of all exponents with a B1 value 8M or less (379 exponents after I found 2 with TF 69-70) and am about 30% through them. I was going to try to get all of the sub-ranges below 200 un-factored before moving on but now I think I am just going to finish up my current list and move to 4.0M. All of the remaining exponent on my current list are in 3.85M and 3.87M so Jocelyn Larouche and mikr, if you see this, have fun with the rest of the range but if I step on a number you are working on, sorry in advance. |

Jocelyn has been dabbling in the 3Million ranges doing low bound ECM and P-1 for many years now.
Unfortunately for this project her bounds are much too low ... they may warrant redoing at some point to more reasonable bounds. If you want to message her I think her id is: jocelynl1204 mikr had been systematically TF'ing all ranges down as low as 4M to 71 bits. Only recently have I seen him doing P-1....his bounds are a little better. I'm not sure how to message mikr |

PMing him should do. I have exchanged PMs with him more than once.

On mersenneforum.org, there seems to be no such user. Which user name is it? Not mikr.
