I will formally hand over this project to OmbooHankvald if they are still interested.

Along with the data files that I have and the little programs that I used.

Edit: (I had a "real life" issue pop up on 7/7/05 that caused me to be unable to carry on normally online for a while.)

Yes, sort of. I have a BASIC program that takes the results.txt and creates a factors.txt and worktodo.ini

I would be honoured to help this project continue!
I've sent you a mail so we can sort things out.

Hi fetofs, I haven't really taken over the project yet. I have sent mails to Uncwilly but apparently he doesn't check his inbox very often...

Hmm... No response from Uncwilly yet... Maybe another real life issue has popped up?

I have a bunch of the wide results files-- all the ones I had marked active on UncWilly's site, and the ones I checked out on the forum that haven't been updated on his site. I can email these if anyone is interested for an updated site.

I used find/replace functions in notepad to change the bit depths on the nofactor file to continue work on a exponent range at higher bit depths.

P.S: This is a preliminary result from my previous work, up to 333377491. I don't know who to send it

Arrow What now?

Okay... Since Uncwilly apparently is AWOL, I guess we must work together to get this project moving again...

How do you sort out the results? Notepad?
An example in wide: I take the initial file for a range on Uncwillys site. Then I take the results file I got from a contributor, note which bit depth they have been factored to and then I remove all the corresponding values from the initial file and place it back on the site with a note on the new bit depth?

And in deep: I get the results, note if there were any factors and if not, I simply update the bit depth factored to on the site?

VBCurtis: Please do also send the results-files to Lhademmor*nospam*@hotmail.com

Because Uncwilly disappeared before I got his password, I'mm probably be hosting the site on www.geocities.com/omboohankvald/ until he gets back, ok?

I would love to manage this project, but I just need some help getting started...

OH
