What is more likely to score a prime in a given amount of time, first-pass or doublecheck? (Please note that, for example, if second-pass takes 1/5th as long as first-pass, you need to multiply the odds by 5 in order to respect the "given amount of time" portion of my request.)
I'm more curious than anything else, I don't really expect to find an actual prime. |

The first-time test error rate is in the neighborhood of 2-3%. So, first time tests are the way to go.
