Hello.
I am using gpuowl with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER and Prime95 with i7-9700K (no OC) (7 cores / 1 worker) 1 RPR test takes about 7days on GPU and 10 days on CPU. With Prime95 I can get the smallest exponents up to category 0, but with manual gpuowl assignments can get only to cat 2. So if I can do RPR test on GPU faster, would not be more logical to get lower categories for it? Is there any way to do it properly (cat 0 and 1 for gpuowl)? If I take exponent with Prime95 and then move work to gpuowl, will I be able to send manual results after? Last fiddled with by retina on 2020-10-06 at 11:09 Reason: Changed title RPR to PRP so as not to confuse everyone |

Yes, you can transfert the assignement to gpuowl. Just cut/paste the entire line in gpuowl worktodo.
You will have to report it manually. just copy paste the result line in manual result. You would need to be logged in mersenne.org to get the credit. |

Make sure that you are using the latest version of gpuOwL. That will allow for a verification run to be done quickly. Also on the gpuOwL github there is a python file for submitting results.

Welcome to the project and forum. There are several possible methods of proof file upload from gpuowl. #3 in this list is easy since you already have the prime95 install.
https://www.mersenneforum.org/showpo...0&postcount=26 The RTX gpus are much more productively used for TF though. Last fiddled with by kriesel on 2020-10-07 at 06:20 |

There was talk about integrating other programs than "prime95" in the automatic testing by adding some code. It could be the switch to PRP-Cert will have put those projects on hold ? Jacob |
